Welcome to Boldshaves

Boldshaves is a secluded private estate with beautiful gardens surrounded by ancient woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the eastern edge of the Kent Weald.

The lovely landscaped garden, which contains an unusually large range of trees, shrubs and perennial plants, is open regularly throughout the year for charities, including the National Gardens Scheme, and for gardening clubs, historical societies and other groups. In 2016 the garden will be open to the public on weekdays Monday to Friday from 2-6pm from 8th April – 14th October; On Sunday 24th April and Sunday 11th September from 2 – 6pm for the National Garden Scheme; and otherwise by appointment. To book a private visit, please e-mail us at or call us on 01233 860302.

Bed and breakfast is available in the main house at Boldshaves; and the 18th century Barn is available for hire for receptions, small conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other functions.

The LCL Club, the gardening club at Boldshaves, features events during the year with visits from a range of garden writers, gardeners, plantsmen and designers.
